After two years of rumors and speculations, Snapchat published a blog post introducing \u201cSpectacles<\/strong>\u201d, Snapchat\u2019s new sunglasses<\/strong> device with an integrated video camera that makes memories easier to create.
\nThese smart glasses will come out this fall. When you press the side of the sunglasses, Spectacles<\/strong> records 10 seconds of video at a time. The videos are panoramic with a 180\u00b0 view.<\/p>\n

In related news, Snapchat has also revealed a company name change from Snapchat to Snap Inc.!
\nCEO and co-founder Evan Spiegel described this new freedom from cell phone cameras as revolutionary, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s one thing to see images of an experience you had, but it\u2019s another thing to have an experience of the experience. It was the closest I\u2019d ever come to feeling like I was there again.\u201d<\/p>\n
