Logan Paul<\/strong>, the famous golden boy, recently posted an infamous video of a dead man for his millions of fans to see.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old vlogger headed into Japan\u2019s Aokigahara forest<\/strong>, known as one of the most popular places in the world to commit suicide, and shared to his 15 million subscribers a video of a man who had taken his own life just hours before.<\/p>\n

In the few hours after it was uploaded, the video collected more than 6 million views and YouTube<\/a> even put it in its trending section.<\/p>\n

But YouTubers called out Paul<\/strong> and heavily criticised him, claiming that suicide should never be a \u2018driving force for views\u2019. He deleted the video straight away.<\/p>\n

Paul<\/strong> said that his intentions were to raise awareness around mental health. But was it really necessary to show the body? After all, the unfortunate man\u2019s loved ones will recognise him.<\/p>\n

Now you may ask how YouTube<\/a> treated one of its top earners following the controversial video.<\/p>\n

YouTube<\/strong> has decided to cut ties with Paul<\/strong> and the streaming platform<\/strong> will start by cancelling his lucrative Google Preferred ad deal. This is what YouTube<\/strong> said earlier this week:<\/p>\n

\u2018In light of recent events, we have decided to remove Logan Paul\u2019s channels<\/strong> from Google Preferred<\/strong>. Additionally, we will not feature Logan in season 4 of Foursome and his new Originals are on hold.\u2019<\/p>\n

Paul will still be able to monetise his videos, but not like he used to. His digital empire<\/strong> has been shaken and he won\u2019t be earning the same money per click.<\/p>\n

Although Paul has apologised on his official Twitter account<\/strong>, his image has been badly hurt and YouTube<\/strong> cutting ties is not the only punishment he\u2019ll get.<\/p>\n
