iN DEMAND<\/strong> is a worldwide leader in providing and distributing transactional entertainment. The company reaches about 60 million households throughout North America via Pay-Per-View, Video on Demand<\/strong> and digital platforms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The challenge for eXo<\/a> was to help iN DEMAND<\/strong> enable collaboration through a new and modern digital platform<\/strong>. Before adopting eXo Platform<\/a>, iN DEMAND<\/strong> had its own intranet<\/a> that had started to become outdated. This intranet<\/strong> was mainly used for document storage<\/strong> purposes and lacked some key capabilities that iN DEMAND<\/strong> needed. The company chose eXo<\/a> because it wanted a collaborative intranet<\/a> with a built-in enterprise social network<\/a> in order to build its internal digital collaboration<\/a> culture through employee interactions. The open source nature of eXo Platform<\/a> and its ability to be extended and tailored allowed iN DEMAND<\/strong> to maintain better control over its own employee experience<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the aim of launching their new intranet<\/strong> at the company\u2019s 30th anniversary, the project team<\/a> introduced the new intranet<\/strong> environment to end-users after two months of gradual personalization and adjustment and has worked since then on continuous improvement and of the intranet<\/a>. The newly launched iN DEMAND-branded intranet<\/strong> allowed free-flow of communications, making it a hub for cross-departmental interactions, better employee onboarding and easier access to information.<\/p>\n
