2018 is finally over and there\u2019s a new year upon us. That means a new set of opportunities, novelties and surprises.<\/p>\n
With that in mind comes the world\u2019s largest show, the Consumer Electronics Show<\/strong> \u2013 or what we all call CES 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This year, digital assistants<\/strong> are expected to be in a war, to show each other and the whole industry that each has the best platforms for smart homes, connected cars and voice-powered offices.<\/p>\n From the Amazon Alexa<\/strong> to the Google Assistant<\/strong> \u2013 or even the Samsung Bixby<\/strong> \u2013 the show is becoming a who\u2019s who for the smart home. So they will all have to make their case and showcase their capabilities.<\/p>\n Will the show draw in more mainstream customers and convince them that they need smart homes<\/strong> as much as they need smartphones<\/a>? We\u2019ll wait and see!<\/p>\n One thing for sure is that CES 2019<\/strong> will be all about software improvements, more integration between, say, your lights and your TV, and more cohesive smart homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This year, CES<\/a> will take place from Tuesday January 8 to Saturday January 12<\/strong> with 4,500 exhibitors showing thousands of products.
