We can\u2019t go a month without hearing about Facebook<\/strong> facing some tides or being sued. Since the most popular social network worldwide<\/strong> announced that it\u2019s turning to financial services<\/strong> now, the company was first accused <\/a>of not being trustworthy when it comes to dealing with people finances, as it couldn\u2019t deal with people\u2019s data and privacy in the past.<\/p>\n

Now, an online banking company<\/strong> called Current<\/strong> is claiming that Facebook<\/a> has stolen its logo and used it for Facebook\u2019s newly unveiled cryptocurrency play<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Stuart Sopp, CEO of Current, told CNBC: “This is a funny way to try and create trust in a new global financial system<\/strong> – by ripping off another fintech firm<\/strong>\u2026 We put six months of hard work into this [logo] with that design firm, which they basically reused for Facebook<\/strong> without changing much… Facebook<\/a> is a big company that should have done their due diligence on this.”<\/p>\n

If we take a look at both logos, we notice that Calibra<\/strong>, Facebook\u2019s financial system logo<\/strong>, bears a resemblance to Current’s logo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
