But the changes made by Mayer did not save the company. <strong>Tumblr<\/strong> and <strong>Flickr<\/strong> now have new owners, television and news initiatives have collapsed and <a style=\"color: #2f5e92; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/blog\/verizon-finalizes-4-8-billion-yahoo-deal\/\">Yahoo itself has been sold to Verizon<\/a>.
