{"id":37191,"date":"2018-03-15T05:01:28","date_gmt":"2018-03-15T12:01:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/blog\/?p=15409"},"modified":"2023-06-05T16:07:11","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T14:07:11","slug":"exo-wins-digital-transformation-award-at-the-french-digital-transformation-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/blog\/exo-wins-digital-transformation-award-at-the-french-digital-transformation-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"eXo wins Digital Transformation Award with French Law Enforcement Agency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The third annual <strong>French Digital Transformation awards<\/strong> took place this week, and <strong>eXo<\/strong> won the award in the <strong>Collaboration<\/strong> category with one of its clients, the French <strong>Law Enforcement Agency<\/strong> (<strong>National Gendarmerie<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The awards are organized by <strong>Solution Num\u00e9riques magazine <\/strong>to recognize <strong>innovative projects<\/strong> and companies championing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/blog\/digital-transformation-how-to-ensure-adoption-of-your-intranet-exo-platform\/\">digital transformation<\/a>. After preselection by a jury, the winners were announced in a ceremony on 14 March in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/blog\/customer-spotlight-french-national-gendarmerie\/\">National Gendarmerie project<\/a> connects more than 100,000 agents in 30 countries around the world via a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/digital-collaboration-software\/\">collaboration platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The platform allows agents to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/\">share information and documents<\/a> and create work groups and communities of interest. It brings together agents located in different time zones, allowing them to work together better.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the project aims at uniting the police force and reinforcing its engagement.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/\">platform<\/a> represents one of the biggest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/enterprise-social-network\/\">professional social networks<\/a> in Europe. It is part of a larger <strong>digital transformation<\/strong> initiative within the <strong>Gendarmerie<\/strong> aiming at modernizing one of the fundamental functions of the state and bringing it closer to the public.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/digital-collaboration-software\/\">collaboration platform<\/a> is available remotely through the tablets and smartphones agents use for their daily work in the field (driver\u2019s license control, etc).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benjamin Mestrallet<\/strong>, our CEO, is thrilled by this <strong>collaboration award<\/strong>: \u2018We are proud that the <strong>Gendarmerie<\/strong> was chosen.
