The university\u2019s research center is home to about 1000 postdoctoral scholars and reputed health experts including five Nobel laureates.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>UCSF<\/strong> faced the challenge of <strong>improving collaboration and knowledge sharing<\/strong> between employees for its Epi and Biostat department. The university was looking for a holistic solution that can provide an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/enterprise-social-network\/\">Enterprise Social Network<\/a> (<strong>ESN<\/strong>) for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/company-internal-communication\/\">internal communication<\/a> as well as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exoplatform.com\/knowledge-management-software\/\">knowledge Management System<\/a> (<strong>KMS<\/strong>) for article and document sharing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UCSF<\/strong> chose <strong>eXo platform<\/strong> for its capacity to deliver both <strong>ESN<\/strong> and <strong>KMS<\/strong> within one solution.
