As a promise is a promise, the feature scope recently detailed by Patrice Lamarque<\/a> is taking shape and we are already able to provide you with concrete results!<\/p>\n

As you know, our golden rule is to foster collaboration within your social intranet and focus on the interactions. So to encourage people to work together better, a brand new Document Sharing<\/b> feature is aimed at giving you more control of your documents\u2019 visibility.

\nWe have made it very easy by adding a new \u2018Share\u2019 action in Documents apps. Anyone can use it by selecting a document, clicking on \u2018Share\u2019 and choosing the audience.<\/p>\n

\"01-Share-Document-Space\"<\/a><\/p>\n

If you need to, you can add a few words about your document in the comment field in the sharing popup.<\/p>\n

Another field allows you to set the right permissions for the space\u2019s members: Can View<\/b> for a simple read permission or Can Edit<\/b> to let them edit and share the document.<\/p>\n

\"02-Share-Comment-Access-Permissions\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Good things come in pairs; while improving the sharing capability of the Documents application, we seized the opportunity to improve it also in the Activity Stream<\/b>. You are now able to share an activity by using the Link icon in the top right corner.<\/p>\n

Enough said. Try it for yourself without further delay by downloading the latest preview of Platform 4.3.<\/p>\n
