eXo Platform at the heart of the trusted collaboration suite launched by Orange Business
Faced with rising geopolitical tensions and a growing reliance on U.S.-based collaborative software suites, organizations are now seeking alternatives that balance performance, ease of use, and data sovereignty, while avoiding extraterritorial laws such as the Cloud Act.

In this context, Orange Business is announcing the launch of the Live Collaboration offering: a sovereign, turnkey collaborative suite hosted in France within an Orange Business SecNumCloud data center. To structure the entire user experience and centralize usage, the solution leverages the open-source digital workplace platform eXo Platform.

A packaged, ready-to-use offering
Designed as a seamless, integrated, and immediately operational solution, Live Collaboration covers all collaborative use cases within a unified environment.
Managed end-to-end by Orange Business, the offering relies on two main software components :
- eXo Platform, the open-source digital workplace
- BlueMind, a sovereign open-source messaging solution
The suite benefits from SecNumCloud hosting, ensuring a high level of security and protection against extra-territorial laws and from SLA grade support and professional services spanning the whole project cycle provided by Orange Business teams based in Europe.
By combining open-source technologies, SecNumCloud hosting, and hands-on support, this offering provides a concrete solution to market needs: a trusted, integrated, and fully controllable collaborative suite that can be deployed quickly, without technical complexity or dependence on proprietary environments.
eXo Platform, an open and foundational framework
In Live Collaboration, eXo Platform plays a key role: structuring the user experience and centralizing access to all features for employees (messaging, documents, workspaces, directory, intranet).
As an open-source, modular, and interoperable platform, eXo is designed to integrate seamlessly into rich application ecosystems and with existing business tools, without compromising on ease of use.
This approach is based on three pillars:
- Transparency and control: open-source, auditable code with no dependencies on a proprietary ecosystem
