Cartoon of the Week: Go Digital, Avoid the inappropriate

You may all have heard of what happened this week with Matt Lauer and his alleged inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace. This caused Lauer to lose his job at NBC and a heated debate on the web.

It seems that a lot of accusations were published in a report by Variety from multiple women against Lauer. The magazine even conducted a two-month investigation and NBC received two more complaintsregarding Lauer Wednesday

inappropriate behavior in the workplace

And this is not the first time, especially lately, that we hear of this kind of incident worldwide. The revelations about Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Charlie Rose, Al Franken and John Conyers makes us wonder if it’s open season on men that are using the power of their positions so that they manipulate women of their choosing.

But as we’re always looking for solutions, we came to think that a digital workplace might be the answer. No more inappropriate behavior if you can work remotely. You can even attend a meeting or collaborate on a project in a pyjama and no one will harass you for that.

So go digital guys, avoid the inappropriate!

Stay tuned for more fun cartoons!

It’s true. If you’re digital, it’s a lot less likely you’ll sexually assault someone. Human resources are hopefully going to be more on top of internal complaints to reduce the amount of assault and harassment cases. There are even management certifications that require a sexual harassment course. Avoid the inappropriate!
