Thanksgiving is the occasion to be thankful for what we have and show appreciation. When it comes to the workplace, one should be thankful for our colleagues if they’re being helpful, for our bosses for being compassionate yet challenging, for our clients for making the business run and sharing feedbacks so one can reach newer milestones.
Although Thanksgiving focuses on the ‘thanks’ element, let’s not forget the ‘giving’ part. One should consider sharing tips, giving advice and giving expertise to help others.
To get into the holiday spirit, we can take the time to show thanks and appreciation for our colleagues, bosses, clients and partners but also give back to our community. This is what will make the turkey dinner taste that much sweeter.
