Email notifications improvements on eXo Cloud!
As recently promised by Patrice Lamarque, eXo Cloud is about to take the plunge and run eXo Platform 4.1.
We’ve worked hard to polish up eXo Cloud’s features; in particular, the email notifications feature has been improved and is now a powerful tool for keeping track of all activities and events in your workspace.
Notification emails are a great way to keep up with what is happening in your social intranet, whenever someone likes or comments on your activity or mentions you. As a user, you can decide for yourself what events you want to be notified of and how often you want to receive emails. As an administrator, you can control which notifications are activated on your workspace.
We strongly believe that users should be offered a premium experience, so we are always working to create a simpler, more intuitive interface. This upgrade comes with various bug fixes and improvements such as an improved rich text editor and several UX enhancements across the platform.
We know that many of you have been looking forward to seeing new supported languages on eXo Cloud. We are pleased to let you know that we have continued to increase the number of supported languages in your workspace! Thanks to amazing contributions from the eXo Tribe on our Crowdin, you can now choose from among 18 languages.
This post is just scratching the surface of the improvements we plan to make to eXo Cloud. There is far more to come! Stay tuned — we will soon reveal more improvements and new features, in particular the much requested video call add-on!
