eXo Platform 4.0.3 Released: The Platform is now available in Spanish and Arabic!

We are very pleased to announce the availability of eXo Platform 4.0.3, the 3rd maintenance version of the Platform 4.0 series.

This version contains resolutions for 159 issues from several categories.

Customer issues

In each maintenance version, we provide fixes for issues reported by our customers through the support channel.

Support for Postgres Plus Advanced Server 9.2 (EnterpriseDB)

This database server has been supported since eXo Platform 4.0.2. In this release of eXo Platform 4.0.3, a sample configuration is included to make installation easier.

Availability of the acme extension

This demonstration website is now available in the Express and Enterprise editions. Please check README.txt in the bundles or Install extensions in the Administration guide for more details.

Performance enhancement

Scalability and performance are always undergoing continuous improvement. Our QA team has made a significant contribution to this release.

New translations in Arabic and Spanish

Thanks to the valuable contributions of our colleagues, partners and the community on Crowdin, eXo Platform 4.0.3 is available in seven languages: English, French, German, Swedish, Vietnamese, Arabic and Spanish.

Other defects were reported by our QA and Engineering teams.

How to get the update

Customers who subscribe to eXo will have the bundle via our support channel. Otherwise, download and use the eXo Platform 4.0.3 Express Edition: Download eXo Platform 4.0.3 Express Edition

If you are using eXo Platform 4.0.2, you should follow the Upgrade chapter in the Administration guide and the Release Notes on the community website and you will quickly get the new version to work with your current data.

The next version, eXo Platform 4.0.4, is already on track. The main focus is performance enhancement. It is scheduled to be delivered in January 2014.
