Partnership combines an open source digital workplace with European sovereign endpoint management
Paris, August 18, 2026 – eXo Platform, the French provider of open source digital workplace solutions, and idruide, a European specialist in unified endpoint management, today announce a strategic partnership designed to address a key challenge for organizations looking to move beyond Microsoft 365: deploying and managing alternative applications across employees’ devices.
By integrating eXo Platform with the multi-OS and sovereign idruide Sparkle platform, IT teams can centrally deploy, configure and update applications across heterogeneous device fleets. The partnership provides organizations with a European technology stack spanning the entire digital workplace environment, from collaboration and communication tools to endpoint management.
As organizations reassess their reliance on major technology platforms, moving away from Microsoft 365 increasingly involves more than replacing email, productivity and collaboration tools. It also means addressing the infrastructure used to deploy and manage those alternatives.
Even after replacing Microsoft 365 applications, organizations may remain dependent on proprietary endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune to deploy, configure and maintain their new software.
The partnership between eXo Platform and idruide addresses this often-overlooked challenge by bringing together two complementary European technologies: an open source digital workplace and a unified endpoint management platform.

The idruide platform enables IT teams to automate the deployment of eXo Platform’s collaborative applications, apply configurations based on user profiles, and manage the full application lifecycle, from installation and updates to removal, through a centralized interface.
The partnership supports the deployment of eXo Platform and its core collaboration capabilities, including communication, messaging and document collaboration. It is designed to help organizations roll out their digital workplace progressively across their entire device estate.
The integration also strengthens the Live Collaboration ecosystem by addressing a critical operational requirement: deploying and managing collaboration applications across users’ devices at scale.
The solution is particularly relevant for organizations managing diverse IT and mobile environments across multiple operating systems, including public administrations, local authorities, educational institutions and multi-site businesses pursuing digital modernization or sovereignty strategies.

By decoupling the choice of collaboration platform from endpoint management, the partnership gives IT teams greater control and flexibility over how their digital workplace evolves.
Organizations can adopt and roll out new tools progressively by location, user group or according to operational requirements, without having to undertake a disruptive, all-at-once transformation.
The partnership also creates new opportunities for system integrators, IT service providers and managed service providers supporting organizations through digital transformation and migration projects. They can now address the full technology chain, from selecting the collaboration platform to deploying and managing applications across end-user devices.
