Open Source and Digital Sovereignty: Join us at OW2con’26!
On June 2 and 3, the eXo Platform team will participate in OW2con’26, the European conference dedicated to open source organized by OW2.
During two days, the event will bring together an international community of contributors, users, providers, and institutional decision-makers around a rich program covering both the technical aspects and the business and ethical challenges of open source.
Conent
As European organizations seek to strengthen their digital autonomy, open source and open models are emerging as essential levers for controlling their infrastructure and data.
This 2026 edition will therefore focus on a particularly strategic theme:

Don’t miss the talk led by Veronika Mazour Mestrallet, CEO of eXo Platform:
“ AI at the core of the open-source digital workplace:
a lever for digital sovereignty ”
The integration of AI into collaborative tools raises major challenges regarding sovereignty, transparency, and data control.
This session will present concrete insights into the integration of useful, controlled, and ethical AI within an open-source digital workplace. It will specifically address:
- Open governance of AI usage
- Data control and hosting
- The use of multiple LLMs
- The importance of human in the loop in AI assistants use.
This conference will show how open source enables a progressive and controlled adoption of AI within European organizations, while preserving their technological independence.
An event for networking
Beyond the conferences and workshops, OW2con’26 will also be an opportunity to meet key players in the European open-source ecosystem.
