eXo Platform 4.0.4 Released! Now available in 12 languages!

We are beginning the year with a new release! We are very pleased to announce the availability of eXo Platform 4.0.4, the fourth maintenance version of the Platform 4.0 series.

This version contains resolutions for 160 issues from several categories:

New translations in 5 languages

Thanks to the valuable contributions of our colleagues, partners, and the community on Crowdin, eXo Platform 4.0.4 is available in 12 languages: English, French, German, Swedish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Spanish, simplified Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese-Brazilian, and Turkish.

Performance enhancement

Scalability and performance are always undergoing continual improvement. In this version, performance is improved in Wiki, Forum, Content Explorer, and Unified Search.

Customer issues

In each maintenance version, we provide fixes for issues reported by our customers through the support channel.

Other defects were reported by our QA and engineering teams and the eXo community.

How to get the update

Customers who subscribe to eXo will have the bundle via our support channel.

Otherwise, you can download and start using eXo Platform 4.0.4 Express Edition now.

If you are using eXo Platform 4.0.3, you should follow the Upgrade chapter in the Administration guide and the Release Notes on the community website, and you will quickly get the new version to work with your current data.

The next version, eXo Platform 4.0.5, is already on track. It is scheduled to be available in mid-March 2014.
