eXo Platform Blog

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is taking place in Russia this year during June and July across eleven cities. Teamwork, Collaboration, Global, seem to be the hallmarks of this edition’s soccer. It’s no wonder millions of fans around the world are gushing over the “Beautiful Game”.

When we think about the world cup we can immediately imagine passionate fans from all over the world cheering and yelling at their screens and in the stadiums to support their teams.

We can see that when everyone is working towards a common goal the stakes are higher, the motivation is enhanced and the victory is sweeter. In that case, it’s winning the world cup soccer but in the workplace it’s winning in the marketplace and against the competition.

If we can learn something from the world cup soccer it will be about agility in collaboration, communication and IT needs. That’s the mindset of realisation, growth and success.

Corporations that are already aware of that are all offering a reliable infrastructure to leverage the potential of technology, collaborative tools and scalable network for successful team-building and collaboration.

In a time of rapid change and generational transitions, the future will be more collaborative, not less.

How about you? Where do you stand on the journey to a brighter future? Do you want to talk to us about your collaborative needs?
