The 2018 FIFA World Cup is taking place in Russia this year during June and July across eleven cities. Teamwork, Collaboration, Global, seem to be the hallmarks of this edition’s soccer. It’s no wonder millions of fans around the world are gushing over the “Beautiful Game”.
When we think about the world cup we can immediately imagine passionate fans from all over the world cheering and yelling at their screens and in the stadiums to support their teams.
We can see that when everyone is working towards a common goal the stakes are higher, the motivation is enhanced and the victory is sweeter. In that case, it’s winning the world cup soccer but in the workplace it’s winning in the marketplace and against the competition.
If we can learn something from the world cup soccer it will be about agility in collaboration, communication and IT needs. That’s the mindset of realisation, growth and success.
