Cartoon of the Week: Say Boo to your Boss!

eXo Platform Blog

Halloween is one of the employees’ favourite events to celebrate in the workplace. Being an occasion that inspires creativity and enhances bonding, it’s a chance for employers to build teamwork and for employees to come together and admire one another’s transformations.

Celebrating Halloween at work helps create a teamwork-oriented work culture. It also helps develop leadership and managerial skills as it requires planning and execution.

From candy to chocolate, if you’re the type of person who likes to bake then it’s your time to shine. If you’re more on the creative side, then you can impress your colleagues with your costume ideas.

Additionally, a holiday like Halloween is one of the best opportunities for managers and executives to mingle with everyone.

That way, when an employee needs something from the senior managers in the near future, the contact might not seem so scary.

With that being said, not everyone wants to participate in the event and celebrate Halloween and colleagues should respect that.

After all, teamwork is also about respecting one another’s boundaries and preferences.

Happy Halloween everyone! Don’t miss the chance to say Boo to your Boss. You only have 1 shot in a whole year to do it 😉
