Cartoon of the Week: Tinder Select - The world of elite dating apps

Tinder has a simple approach. You log in, find someone you like, see if they like you back and start chatting (or not).
However, apparently elite users, and by that I mean CEOs, supermodels and other high profile people, are having some trouble using the dating service.
Tinder Select
Either they don’t particularly like what’s available or they’re way too good to be true so people think their profiles are fake.
Tinder responded with a members-only version of the platform called ‘Tinder Select’. This service is meant to serve only those elite users: the really rich, really famous, really successful and really hot.
And, yes, even models and millionaires can struggle to find a partner!
The private dating haven has invited people to the platform. The chosen ones can nominate others but those nominated can’t nominate anyone else. This is the only way to prevent the app from spreading massively and to prevent Cinderella from finding Prince Charming.
Tinder is trying to help famous, influential users and like-minded people to find each other. The company has even worked on a much prettier interface. Elite users can switch between standard Tinder and Select whenever they feel like it.
It seems that Tinder Select has been active for six months now and is not planning to announce the service at all. Keeping it secret only adds to the exclusivity and the feeling of superiority for those invited.
If you’re feeling excluded, then please don’t! Because Tinder is trying to get you closer to reality as much as possible 🙂
